Swimmy was Carl's pet goldfish. Its only appearance is in "Beach Party Mummy". It is Carl’s third pet (after Snappy and Mr. Wuggles) and his second pet to be introduced in the series. Swimmy is succeeded by Kevin, the miniature llama, in "Billion Dollar Boy".
History[]
In Beach Party Mummy, Carl is sad that Swimmy has passed away. Jimmy tries to help by reviving Swimmy with his newly developed Electro-Life. At first it looks like Jimmy's attempt to revive the goldfish failed. However, later it becomes clear that the Electro-Life really does work. And thus, at the end of the episode, Carl is happily reunited with his goldfish.
Trivia[]
- Swimmy is based on the same model as the talkative fish in "Raise the Oozy Scab" and as Cindy in "Jimmy Timmy Power Hour 2: When Nerds Collide".
- Later in the series, in "Attack of the Twonkies", Carl is looking for a new pet, implying that Swimmy is no longer his pet. How this came to be remains unknown.
- Carl did not enter Swimmy (or any other pet) in the pet show contest in "Best in Show".
