The Neutronic Monster Maker is an invention that Jimmy used to on Halloween to make people look like monsters. However, the effects of the transformation may eventually mutate the person into a real monster. Its only appearance was in the Halloween episode, Nightmare in Retroville.
Background[]
The Neutronic Monster Maker first appears when Jimmy shows it to Carl and Sheen. Jimmy shows them that they'll have to first select a monster they want to choose from, then they stand under a laser and the laser will zap them, rearranging their molecules to make them look like that monster. Jimmy had 102 different monsters to choose from on the machine, but as Jimmy started with the werewolf showing all the choices, Sheen immediately suggested that's what he wanted to be. Carl then suggests he wanted to be Dracula, so Jimmy gets the machine to make Sheen look like a werewolf and Carl look like a vampire. After the machine zaps Sheen and Carl making them look like a werewolf and vampire, the three boys and Goddard go off Trick-Or-Treating.
After Jimmy, Carl, Sheen and Goddard leave, Hugh Neutron falls into the lab and finds the Neutronic Monster-Maker, mistaking it for a big game called Name That Monster. Hugh then accidentally uses it, changing himself into a real Frankenstein's monster.
Later, while Trick-Or-Treating, after Carl cuts himself on a candy wrapper, he starts drinking it and loving it. Carl then tells Jimmy and Sheen he must have more blood. He then transforms into a vampire bat and flies away. Jimmy then realizes and explains to Sheen that the Monster-Maker not only rearranged Carl's molecules to make him look like a vampire, but also altered his DNA and Carl is now a real vampire and then the sky clears up to reveal the full moon and Sheen starts snarling and growling then attempts to attack Jimmy as he is now a real werewolf.
While being real monsters, Carl finds and bites Cindy, turning her into a real vampire like him, and Sheen finds and bites Libby, turning her into a real werewolf like him. As Carl, Sheen, Cindy, Libby, and Hugh were all real monsters, Sam Melvick starts an angry mob of the townspeople of Retroville to get them.
As Jimmy tries find a way to round Carl, Sheen, Cindy, Libby, and Hugh up, he gets an idea. He first lowered the Monster-Maker's replication frequency, so his DNA won't change like the others' did, Jimmy then uses the machine to transform himself into Octopus Man. As soon as Jimmy was now a giant flying octopus, he was able to find Carl, Sheen, Cindy, Libby and Hugh and round them up (as well as scaring the angry mob that was chasing them away) and use the machine to turn them back to normal.

- Above the werewolf image on the wheel of the Neutronic Monster Maker is an image of Michael Jackson in his Thriller outfit.
- Although the Monster Maker has 102 different monsters to choose from, the wheel only shows 12 monsters. This is most likely because it would’ve taken the TV show producers too long to model a wheel with all 102 of them. The choices include Mr. Hyde, Erik (The Phantom of the Opera), Count Dracula, Frankenstein's monster, Imhotep (The Mummy), Larry Talbot (The Wolf Man), Gill-man, Quasimodo (The Hunchback of Notre-Dame), The Blob, Zombie, Devil, and the Octopus Man, the other 90 choices are unknown since they’re never seen.
