The Adventures of Johnny Quasar was an early CGI demo made by Johnathan A. Davis after rediscovering his shelved 1981 script of "Runaway Rocket Boy". The 45 second demo was showcased at the Los Angeles Siggraph CG Convention in 1995 and would set the foundation for what would become Jimmy Neutron.

Plot[]

The short simply shows Johnny Quasar flying in his rocket in space with Goddard. Johnny introduces himself and Goddard to the audience and mentions how he's a genius but that he's sometimes too smart for his own good. His radar suddenly detects incoming asteroids and Johnny exclaims the iconic catchphrase "Woah! Gotta Blast!". The short ends with Johnny and Goddard flying past an asteroid as the title "The Adventures of Johnny Quasar" comes into frame.
