Jimmy Negatron is an evil version of Jimmy Neutron from another dimension. He only appears in the video game Jimmy Neutron vs. Jimmy Negatron as the main antagonist.
Physical Appearance[]
Negatron's appearance differs between the PC and Game Boy Advance versions of Jimmy Neutron vs. Jimmy Negatron. In the PC version, he looks similar to Jimmy, but he also sports a goatee and a mad scientist's outfit. In the Game Boy Advance version, he has gray hair, a short and pointy beard, wears sunglasses, and a gray version of Jimmy's outfit.
Personality[]
Negatron is an evil boy genius who enjoys being cruel and messing things up for his own sadistic pleasures, often displaying a comedically hammy, over-the-top display of his villainous nature by monologuing and manically laughing. He is very abusive towards his henchman, Herman and often locks him in the broom closet when he disturbs him.
Trivia[]
- Negatron's goatee likely was inspired by the Star Trek episode titled Mirror Mirror, in which the evil version of Spock has a goatee.
- Negatron was originally going to be a character on the show and his name was going to be "Nummie Jetron", but that role was given to Evil Jimmy.
- Leaked development documents for the Jimmy Neutron vs. Jimmy Negatron GBA port suggest that Negatron was intended to be given the name "Numey Jetron" throughout the game. This was ultimately rejected.
- Another name considered was Johnny Newman, judging from early placeholder voice lines hidden in the files for the PC version of his eponymous game.
- Though it is never confirmed, Negatron's full name is most likely James Isaac Negatron.
- Leaked development files from the GBA game show that Negatron had a different appearance, with white hair, shades, and a black jacket. This seems to be what the sprite in that version is based off of.
- During his first appearance, we see his to-do list. One of the things he checked off was clean parents cages. This implies he keeps his parents trapped in a cage somewhere.
