The following is a transcript for the short Hypercorn.
Intro and Outro Voice: Jimmy Neutron: Boy Genius in Hypercorn!
Jimmy is in his room at his desk fiddling with something. He tosses aside different parts he doesn’t need. He once again is in his movie design; he’s also missing a finger.
Jimmy: Hey there boy want a bone? Huh? Want a treat?
Goddard gets up on his hind legs panting and begging. Jimmy whose been covering his new invention in his hands reveals it and presses a button.
Jimmy: It’s a hyper-cube, Goddard. With this, I can store an infinite amount of stuff in this little tiny space.
As he talks he pulls out a very heavy bowling ball and a sombrero.
Jimmy: Cool huh?
He tosses the hat on Goddard’s head.
Judy: Jimmy, dinner's ready!
Jimmy: See ya, boy!
Goddard: Adiós.
Scene change Neutron dinner table
Hugh: Here you go, son. it's cream corn. Good for the digestion.
Hugh is wearing a suit rather than his vest and tie combo from the movie and show.
Jimmy: Its looks like somebody already digested it.
Judy upset at both her son and husband's response turns towards Jimmy.
Judy: I don’t wanna hear it, young man. Now eat. it's good for you.
Hugh: Just pretend it's something really good. Like all of mom’s delicious dinners. Anyway, honey, how was your day?
As his parents talk jimmy turns on his cube and starts to look both ways to make sure they aren’t paying attention to him.
Judy: Well, I rebuilt the compressor on the old upstairs unit.
He shovels some in and then looks covertly between his parents again.
Hugh: Oh, the one that made the ‘boogly-boogly’ sound?
Judy: Yes, only now it makes more of a ‘splee!’ sound.
Jimmy finishes shoveling it all into his cube
Hugh: Brilliant!
Jimmy: Hmm that was sure delicious I am stuffed.
Hugh puts a heaping serving onto his plate.
Hugh: Plenty more where that came from, son!
Jimmy: Ugh!
Hugh: Perhaps you could take a look at my car. Lately it's been making a ‘plob-plop-plob’ sound.
Jimmy is shoveling more corn into his cube again. Watching his parents carefully to make sure that they aren’t paying him any mind.
Judy: Are you sure the tire isn’t flat?
Hugh: Only on the bottom.
Hugh and Judy laugh at his joke
Hugh: What you got there, son?
Hugh has noticed the cube just as Jimmy finished putting all the corn in it and tapping it with his spoon. He jumps.
Hugh: Is that a brainteaser puzzle?
Jimmy shakes his head as Hugh grabs for it.
Hugh: I’m so good at these! I used to be president of the brainteaser club in high school!
Jimmy: No, dad. it's not it's really uh-
Hugh: Gimme a try. Watch this.
Jimmy: Hey hey don’t do that don’t do that-
Jimmy begins to gesture for his dad to stop.
Hugh: No, I think I got it!
He’s got the cube top covered with his hand as he tries to twist it. It doesn’t work
Hugh: Ah! Here we go!
Jimmy: No!
Jimmy is gesturing more but it’s to no avail, he finds the button on the top and hits it. An explosion of corn splashes all over the dining room.
Hugh: Hey, look, dear, I won!
Judy is wiping the corn off of herself, Jimmy licks some off his hand.
Jimmy: Oh, that is good.
Hugh hums in agreement as the finale lingering shot of the messy room fades out.
