Poultra was an antagonist in the franchise. She was a massive, chicken-like alien whom the Yolkians revered as a goddess.

Appearance

Poultra resembles a giant chicken with three eye stalks, a large fanged beak, a long scaly neck, muscular Theropod-like legs, and a massive posterior.

Role

Poultra's role is the chicken goddess of the Yolkians, she is worshiped by them and is given a sacrifice to please her. If not given a sacrifice, she will leave and never come back.

In the movie, Poultra is born from a massive egg, while in The Egg-Pire Strikes Back, she is generated using the previous Poultra's nail using Jimmy's regenerator.

Trivia

• She looks similar to a T-Rex because of her body structure. This is not surprising because it's said that birds evolved from dinosaurs.
• Poultra is also an antagonist in Jimmy Neutron's Nicktoon Blast. It's also revealed that she can breathe out fire from her mouth like a dragon.
• Poultra has died twice (though these may be two separate Poultras):
  • Following her first appearance, she is claimed to be deceased by Ooblar, due to having not received a sacrifice. Although it was mentioned that the original Poultra left for another planet, which implies that she may still be active there.
  • In her second (and final) appearance, Poultra died from combustion because chickens can't burp.
• Poultra's name is very similar to that of Mothra, a monster from the 1961 movie of the same name.
• Her name is a play on "Poultry", a term that is used for domestic fowl such as chickens and turkeys.
